Where is the disk status info.

Hi,
In RedHat 8, the disk status counters (bytes read, bytes write, etc.) are 
stored in /proc/partitions.

In Fedora Core 2 if I make a cat of /proc/partitions I can't see this 
counters.
Where are the now ?
How may I monitor the disks status in Fedora Core 2 ?
