Perhaps... freedesktop.org. I don't know how many keyboard-centric users
stay in the gui long enough to notice such things. But as much as I'm a
kde user, I don't think this is the kind of thing that should be
implemented in only one desktop. But actually this may have become a
moot point as another solution was offered in this thread of an old
application called "unclutter" that is supposed to "hide" the inactive
mouse pointer, thereby supposedly preventing a keyboard controlled menu
from colliding with it.

If it works (haven't tested it yet) then I'd modify my #2 wish to get
unclutter someplace where yum can keep it updated for me...

(Yum didn't find it in the fedora base, freshrpm, or dag repositories)
But my google search turned up a redhat rpm, And Someone else's search
pointed at some rpms done up for fedora... Though I'm not so sure
fedora-current means current stable and not current test... And if I got
real desperate there was a src rpm... <shudder> I know I will probably
have to learn to compile my own software someday, But as fast as fedora
changes I really like yum updateable stuff much better.

Wish me luck!
