Add the following to /etc/yum.conf to allow yum to upgrade Moz to 1.6:

[mozilla-seamonkey]
name=Mozilla SeaMonkey Releases
baseurl=http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/yum/SeaMonkey/releases/1.6/redhat/1

Important Note: This will break epiphany and galeon, though you could
search the archive for repo's for versions of them that are compatible
with the upgraded Moz.

"Why switch to 1.6?"

1.6 has some at least one feature that didn't work for me in 1.4.1-18.
For instance, the ability to mark the contents of a folder as read is
very handy -- that feature never seemed to work with me in the default
version that came with FC1. When you get as many emails from various
lists as I do, that feature gets used a lot ;-) But it may have worked
fine for everyone else out of the box. It just wasn't working for me, so
I figured I'd try out the newer version. It did work for me. None of the
customization items I had for the previous version got lost. My email
was just fine. The upgrade was seamless for me via yum (with the
exception of breaking epiphany and galeon, both of which are fine browsers).

...plus it's nice to have a newer version just to see what it's like!
