Error installing mplayer

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to install mplayer so that I can watch videos from Fedora. I
downloaded all the necessary files and ran the following command as
root:

rpm -Uvh mplayer-common-1.0pre3try2-1.i386.rpm
mplayer-gui-1.0pre3try2-1.i386.rpm mplayer-skin-default-1.0-2.noarch.rpm
lame-libs-3.96-1.i386.rpm

And I get the following message in return:

package mplayer-common-1.0pre3try2-1 is already installed
        file /usr/lib/libmp3lame.so.0.0.0 from install of
lame-libs-3.96-1 conflicts with file from package lame-3.96-9.rhfc1.at

Is there a way to work around this conflict? How do I install mplayer or
is there some other video player?
