Fedora installation finally... but problem with up2date, plshelp

Hi. I've always had this problem. I never fiqured out what caused it but
being an ex-windows type I just sort of sighed and restarted the
applets. It's not really harmful as far as I can tell but annoying
nonetheless.

If you find a fix let us all know.
