vmware and SMP kernel?

The easyest way is to install a 2.4.x kernel or to update to a VMWare that is 
kernel 2.6 capable. Check the VMWare website about this.

VMWare is capable of using your smp system up to the limit. Where documentation 
says it cannot do smp or it needs additional licensing to do so, it is speaking 
of providing smp to the guests.
