XKBD Error

Kind persons:

I just finished installing Core 2 on my machine and have one residual issues outstanding:
I get this error on each reboot
    -- Error activating XKB configuration
       Probable internal Xserver problem.
       X server version data:
       The X.Org Foundation
       60700000

Any ideas?
