mount -t vfat /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy
mount: block device is write-protected, mounting read-only
mount: /dev/fd0: can't read superblock
ls -al fd0
brw-rw-rw- 1 talisman floppy 2, 0 Feb 24 2004 fd0
Fedora Core 2 on my Desktop has no problems reading/writing to the floppy.
Changing the tab's position did nothing
