When I try to install it, I get

error: failed dependencies:
          hotplug < 3: 2004_04_01-5 conflicts with ipw2100-firmware-1.2-3

according to 'yum info,' hotplug is version 2004_04_01 release 1. When
I try 'yum update hotplug,' I get 'hotplug is installed and is the
latest version."
