cdrecord problem

This sounds a lot like the trouble I had with cdrecord, etc. when I 
upgraded to FC2 from FC1.  In my case the problem was that I manually 
added the 'hdc=ide-scsi' option to the boot line, as I always have had 
to in the past, all the way back to slackware 5.?  But, FC2 finally 
handles CD writers properly, without this option (but gets hopelessly 
confused with it).
