yum in FC3 configuration file

That's the idea but I'd have done:

freshrpms.repo         => "[freshrpms]" section;
freshrpms-updates.repo => "[freshrpms-updates]" section;
freshrpms-core.repo    => "[freshrpms-core]" section;
