You probably need to load the firmware drivers from 
<http://thekelleys.org.uk/atmel/>. Once you have that RPM loaded the 
kernel drivers will start working. Unless it is one of the new cards 
that's cardbus and not pcmcia, then it doesn't use the Atmel chipset at all.
