I have asked about this on the fedora mailing list 
(and the Fedora test list) many times.

Is there any point in posting a bugzilla asking why a bugzilla
has not been looked at?
In any case, I did post a bugzilla.
I also wrote to all the people whose names were mentioned
in the relevant source code or documentation (some 5 or 6 people),
but never received any acknowledgement from any of them/

This patch has to be applied for X to work on my Sony Playstation (C1VFK)
and I presume on most other Playstations.
