module-init-tools removale?

I'm principally on Debian atm, and I would not ordinarily do a dist upgrade.

I do an upgrade, and then consider the packages (if any) that are not 
upgraded.

You can "pin" packages too. Read the apt-get docs for info on that; it's a 
means to say "this release and no other."
