Recommendations for home backup solution

Sorry but I've just written an email detailing what I think about the
following backup solutions

1. rsync
2. tar
3. partimage
4. mirrordir

Of the above 4, I would say I like #1 and #2 the best. The Email I've
written has the subject :
"Re: Looking for backup software of complete system"
