OT: Political Spam - what can you do about it?

If he is in a position of putting your company or your company's
reputation at risk, get a lawyer familiar with this area of the law. Get
a formal legal opinion of your options.

Easy decision.

That of course does not mean that this particular individual will not
sue you in return for any action that you might take, even if your
action is legal. 

The question is whether or not any action you take is legal and has any
legal precedent. You need a lawyer for that.
