Some thoughts about yum and repositories

If by any chance this means, as I hope, that some few of you are
interested in making Fedora usable by subtechnoids, you may also find it
helpful to know that, as of now, DDB's post and the one from Clint Harshaw
following it up both make good sense to one such.

All the rest are well over my head -- and I've been running linux since RH
7.2, with a lot of help from the helpful.

Nota Bene : I don't in the least mean to diss any of the other posts. My
experience is that those who get really good at a thing reach a point
where it becomes hard to envision what life would be like, *not* knowing
all they do, and therefore welcome such comments. I hope mine help.
