audacity segfaults on FC2

sorry for being not clear. I understood that wxGTK = wxWidgets/GTK+
I just said where I saw it ;-)

Well, tried to build from source, but see yourself:

# rpmbuild --rebuild audacity-1.2.1-0.fdr.1.2.src.rpm

I consider myself as quite a geek, but that is too much hassle.

OK, audacity won't work - krec sukcz ...
gnome-sound-recorder: I meanwhile got to that point where it doesn't hang
by changing settings in gstreamer-properties, but I can't hear anything
recorded...
Any alternatives to try ? (before I buy a Mac ;-)
