FC2 static routing problem

I am having an issue with a FC2 box and static routing.

I have put in a static route to a destination, but when I do a
traceroute, it still sends it to the default gateway. I have
done a 'route -Cn' and checked the route cache, and the route
cache shows the correct destination.

The only network modification that I have done is to include
'alias net-pf-10 off' to the modprobe.conf file to turn off
ipv6.

Has anyone seen this before?
