A Different Problem with K3B?

I've read the FAQ regarding the 2.6.8.x kernel and K3B. So I logged in 
as root to try burning a cd. The error message I get follows below. What 
am I doing wrong? The burner is a Teac DVD/CDRW, and I have been able to 
burn isos previously. This is an audio collection. I've tried TAO, and 
lowering the speed to 2x.
