Hi Erwin,

Boot with kernel 2.6.8.x and then, as root, run the commands:

  $ /sbin/modprobe -r 3w-xxxx
  $ /sbin/modprobe 3w-9xxx

which should load the correct kernel module for that card and should let
you see it in /proc/scsi.
