Well, it doesn't do a "rm -rf /", if that's what you're worried about!

There are a number of protocols floating around for PS/2 mice. Some of
the more complex ones don't work well through KVMs. The kernel parameter 
limits Linux to the more simple ones.

You may even need "=bare", not "=imps", although this doesn't have
support for wheel mice.
