Totem-xine blue screen

Hi everybody,
I had installed totem-xine using the tutorial on the fedoranews.org (http://fedoranews.org/blog/?p=509).  I was happy with that since all the codecs are ready, and totem-xine is a nice player.  Unfortunately, I cannot watch video files for a couple of days, instead a blue screen appears. Has anybody faced a similar problem?
I have xine-lib 1.0.0-2.1, totem-xine 0.99.22-1.1.
