umount - "device busy" problem

I have this problem as well with a USB memory stick.
I always sync and unmount to avoid data loss - and occasionally I also
get the error reporting that the device is busy (Im on FC3 with no
updates).
Sorry - that's obviously not going to be any help to you - but I just
thought I'd point out that I see it too :o)
