Feedora doesn't recognize modem

MepsLinux very well may include a winmodem driver - I'm not familiar
with their product.

That looks like a winmodem to me.

Yes - it is a winmodem (aka soft modem)

google for linux winmodem - there's a website that has drivers etc.
It might be http://linmodems.org/ - I don't have one, someone else can
probably direct you to the proper website.

If it works in Mepis then there is a good chance it will work in Fedora
with the proper linmodem driver.
