Since FC3 upgrade from FC2 (CD writer error) Any thoughs?

uname -r
2.6.11-1.14_FC3

i have removed all old kernel from the machine... but i guess 2.4 kernel 
and early 2.6 were where it worked great... sorry i don't remember 
specific patch numbers....
