USB volumes not mounted in FC3

When I connect any USB device (card reader, digital camera, etc) to my 
laptop devices are recognized but such volumes are not mounted.
For example for a card reader:
Bus 004 Device 003: ID 04b4:aefa Cypress Semiconductor Corp.
Bus 004 Device 002: ID 0aec:3050 Neodio Technologies Corp.
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 003 Device 002: ID 05e3:0700 Genesys Logic, Inc. SIIG US2256 
CompactFlash Card Reader
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 067b:3507 Prolific Technology, Inc.
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000

but no automatic mounting, no icon .

On my desktop card reader, Nikon digital camera and Pentax 1stDS digital 
cameras are recognized properly.
What shall I investigate???
