Apple Studio Display 21" CRT

Hi everyone,
slightly OT, but does anyone have experiences using this monitor with
Fedora (or Linux in general). I'm sure it'll work with X and suitable
graphics cards, but can the monitor settings be controlled from Linux?
Most settings for this monitor appear to be set via software and a USB
connection.

If the setting cannot be changed from Linux, does anyone know whether
they can be configured while the display is connected to a Mac, and then
stay permanent?
