mouse problem.

hi all.
i've an optic mouse which has 6 buttons. left - right , back - forward and 2
scrools one to page up, page down and the other is page left page right.
this mouse works fine on windows os. but not works on FC.
how can i enable all buttons ?
does linux also require a driver or do i need to change any conf file ?
