Save/restore memory contents of a process

HI list

I have been re-living my childhood by downloading dos versions of sega games 
and running them with dosbox (dos emulator).  Some of these games however do 
not have a save function and I was wondering if there exist any utilities out 
there that can save/restore all memory of a process.
