KVM switch and PS2 mouse FC 3

Oh dear.

Can you temporarily completely unplug the KVM, and put everything back
as it was (with the power off, of course). If that doesn't help, then it
sounds as though the KVM has damaged your mouse.

If it does ... erm, are you sure that you've kept the mouse and keyboard
cables the right way round everywhere? It's very possible that the
"mouse" output from the KVM is connected to the "keyboard" input on the
PC, which is something that is *mostly* detectable by the motherboard.

What happens if you plug the keyboard and mouse into the Fedora box and
just use the KVM for the monitor? One other possibility is that the KVM
is doing something odd with the PS/2 protocol (or sending current down a
wire that it shouldn't be sending current down).

What happens if you swap the Windows and Fedora outputs on the KVM?

I'll see if I can think of any other weird suggestions to make!
