I've noticed a strange cut and paste problem with xterm in Fedora (actually mdk10.1 also seems to have it) start an xterm this way: ssh -f localhost xterm try to cut and paste between that window and another term (of gnome/k-kterm) and you'll find what appears to be a protocal error and it kills the xterm!!! peter
