[SOLVED] Synaptic not feeling well

Paul,
Thank you so much- it works! I really do appreciate the time you and
many others take to help us beginners out. Fedora really is so much
more than an OS- it is a community, as without you guys I woudn't be
able to do my day to day work with the computer. And that is a vital
function of an OS, no?

By the way, congrats on top poster of the month!
