This is very true.  However, some changes from FC are working their way into RHEL.

Not true.  Windows98 is supported until at least December 2006.  This was a reversal of Microsoft's posture when they found out how many 'commercial' users are out there.  However, support is provided on a 'pay as you go' basis and is no longer 'free'.  You can still get system updates for Windows 95, for security reasons.  Not true for RH9 or earlier.

Actually, FC1 is still supported by the Legacy branch.  However, how long they will support it I do not know.
