Still no parallel port printer with 2.6.10-1.766 !

Ever since about 2.6.9-1.741, I've been unable to get our server to
recognize our Lexmark parallel port printer.  Kudzu doesn't see it and
nor can I manually configure it with system-config-printer.  Needless to
say this is getting extremely frustrating !

Does anyone have any ideas on getting a printer
recognized/installed/working with these newer kernels ?
