Fwd: USB being disconnected on boot FC3

This thread seems to be getting top posted, so I'll continue.

I've got apcupsd working with FC3 and a Back-UPS RS 1500. These are the lines
I needed to edit in /etc/apcupsd/apcupsd.conf:-

This UPS is USB only, so set
UPSCABLE usb
UPSTYPE usb

The HID devices have been moved up a directory from /dev/usb/ since I last
installed apcupsd on RH9 so change the device line to:-
DEVICE /dev/hiddev[0-15]

This should get you going, I think.

I also set:-
BATTERYLEVEL 25
MINUTES 15
but these are down to personal preference.

To do a quick test of your installation, set the TIMEOUT parameter to
something other than zero.

BTW I used:-

http://dag.wieers.com/packages/apcupsd/apcupsd-3.10.13-1.1.fc3.rf.i386.rpm

to install.

Good luck.
