Setting PKG_CONFIG_PATH

I am not sure. What software are you trying to install?
[rmiles at localhost ~]$ whereis glib
glib: /usr/lib/glib
[rmiles at localhost ~]$ rpm -q --whatprovides /usr/lib/glib
glib-devel-1.2.10-15
Do you have this package installed?
