Install of fc3 hangs when loading module aic7xxx

Those are the two choices available in Fedora for that card. The error
message you're getting now would suggest the possibility of a hardware
problem. Check that the SCSI cable is terminated properly. When was this
SCSI adapter last known to work in this system with this disk drive?
