FC4:Printing Problems: evince or CUPS?

I switched Thunderbird's pdf viewer to xpdf and the printout looked 
great!  Evince's problem aparently. To repeat the problem:
In Openoffice: Insert->formula and then select some symbols (right 
click). Now save as PDF.

I'm still curious if the printer GUI can add a stand-alone IP printer.
