How to specify options for automount ?

Hi, 
I resolved this problem by:

add a file /etc/hal/fdi/policy/95-user-storage-policy.fdi , with content 
(between and exclude =====):
=====
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!-- -*- SGML -*- -->

<deviceinfo version="0.2">
<device>
<merge key="volume.policy.mount_option.utf8" type="bool">true</merge>
</device>
</deviceinfo>
=====

and then restart the haldaemon service.
