VCD in drive locks the box

Thanks Jani,
I never thought that this will be such a serious(kernel) issue instead I was 
imagining that the issue may be due to some rpms I installed recently. I 
only hope that reverting back to older kernel:
kernel-2.6.11-1.1369_FC4should be the workaround. Please confirm and
also tell the exact procedure
to revert to older kernel, I wait for ur confident reply.
On the lighter side I think the compilation or rpm build for 
kernel-2.6.12-1.1387_FC4 was done by the person with some dvd/cd in drive!!
PS: Just for you - Here in India, Jani means 'a very dear friend'.
