KDE will not start after yum update

Hi List;

Anyone seen this?

I did a yum update and had to reboot to use the new kernel. Then I get an
error 'kdeinit cannot start'

It shows me a listing of ~/xsessionerrors but I cannot find this file
anywhere. The listing was griping about no access to a shared library. I can
login as root to KDE but none of the users can login to KDE. Gnome works
fine.

Any Ideas. I'll try and find this /~xsessionerror file and post it...
meanwhile any ideas, solutions, thoughts, etc would be much appreciated.
