Newbie: Where are "console" messages written to? FC2 2.6.5

and have found it to be quite stable. OTOH, I'm not runing SMB as
you are. I have had one little glitch, which really seems to be
something wrong with my GNOME/X interface that I can't fix
and can't get help with. I've found a work around, but no fix.
