GDM early login

If wanting to turn this on with FC4, like did with the test releases, is
it enough to turn the two gdm early-login services on and add the
early-login paramater to the kernel in place of rhgb?  Or do you also
have to change/add the chkconfig numbers on it/some other package to
enable it?

Just turning them on and replacing the kernel paramater didn't seem to
be enough.
