fedora four and my HP printer

Hello everybody, 
		The other day I installed fc4 and it worked like a dream, well until I
had to print a page or two. It does not recognise my Laserjet 6l (too
old?) even from the beginning. Is it a parallel port problem or
something else? I went back to fc3 just to see what would happen and lo
and behold it works! Has anybody any ideas how to get out of this one?
