They're not, but it's often hard to guess exactly which packages will be on
which disk. I'd suggest doing an FTP or HTTP install -- you only have to
download fedora/core/3/i386/os/images/boot.iso (4.9M), start the install,
and then from within the installer pick what packages you want.

This is It. I think the web page doesn't mention support because it wants to
emphasize that RH doesn't offer any at all (for a very specific definition
of "any at all"). But you're right; this could be more clear.
