C++ Compilers

The gcc C++ compiler is the standard one, and it comes with FC3. (Pick
'development tools' when doing an install, or 'yum install gcc-c++'.)

There are other options out there if you need them -- is there some way in
particular that gcc doesn't meet your needs?
