updating a init.d script

hi...

a rather simple issue. i'm trying to make changes to the following init.d
script which is used to start/stop mysql. i'd like to be able to prepend the
option '--old-passwords' to the '/usr/sbin/mysqld'. any ideas as to how i
should accomplish this...
