memory.c - bad pmd - x86_64

Dave Jones,

I see there has been another kernel upgrade. Before I update I was 
wondering if you wanted me to provide any more information concerning 
the x86_64 bad pmd message problem. A new kernel might mask the true 
underlying problem.
