APC UPS + Fedora Core 4

Hi all ,

   I have google looking UPS software for Fedora Core 4 , found 2 which 
are nut and apcupsd .
   However i did not have experience in doing ups using 2 software tools.
   Anyone have any experience or suggestion how to start ups using nut 
or apcupsd in Fedora Core 4 ?
   And anyone who have use the 2 tools , i would like to know how good 
are the tools ? Performance ? Easy to use for user?
